De-stressing students at Douglas College

Hi everybody…it’s me again.Β  April is National Volunteer Week so I thought I’d introduce you to myΒ  people.Β  My raiser, Doug, has been with PADS for about two and a half years and raised one dog before me.Β  His name is Verdot and he chose to live a life of leisure so we get to visit each other all the time…he’s my β€œbig bro”!Β  And I’ve adopted Georganne and Anne, Verdot’s people, as part of my extended family.Β  Dad and Georganne host the PADS Volunteer Information Sessions once a month and I get to go with them to meet all the new PADS people.Β  And there’s Uncle Rick who got Dad interested in PADS to begin with.Β  He gives me lots of pets and love when we see each other but Β I don’t get to visit himΒ too often cuz he lives far, far away in a place called Port Moody.

My buddy, Noosa

And even though she’s not β€œpeople”, I have to say Noosa is family too.Β  She’s a beautiful Golden Retriever and Dad brings her over to play with me a few times a week so she’s like a sister to me.

I really love my people and they love me…it’s what Dad calls a β€œwin/win situation”!
