2010 CalendarCalendars!
This week's success goes to a plethora of dedicated volunteers and retailers who have sold all but 600 of the 2010 Puppies-in-Training Calendars (of our 5000 printed this year). These beautiful Calendars celebrate our puppies that will someday change a life. Way to go volunteers! If you haven't gotten your calendar yet, click the picture to order yours today!

Canucks, Puppies & Dogs Changing Lives!
This week has three success stories:
Live2Give TeamCanucks
Kudos to the Canucks, no not the players...but their staff – man do they know how to work! They are amazing and spent a day on our campus as part of their “Live2Give” program attacking weeds, leaves and gravel (that perpetually rolls downhill) we gave them a playoff quality workout and they took it with a smile! Thanks to them we can see fences that have been invisible for as long as we can remember. Good job!

Amelia
Kudos to Amelia Fellenz who successfully welcomed three new Labrador puppies into our program from retiring breeding dog Asia. “Vimy” (Yellow Male) & “Smokey” (Black Male) This was also our first joint breeding with BC Guide Dogs and the little girl “Normandy” will be going into their guide dog training program at 8 weeks old. Vimy and Smokey will remain at PADS.

Ron
Director of Client Services Ron Tymrick reported that the most recent team training of three service dog teams went wonderfully well. He spent much of the last week getting the clients and their dogs settled in back home. Not only helping them adjust, but adjusting their homes so it’s easy for a dog to use. Ron carefully installs light-switch extenders & tug ropes on doors and fridges for each client before heading back to PADS.
