AVERY is Lisaβs right-hand man! He is very loyal and would rather be with his human then anywhere else. He is very watchful and ready to go. He continues to go on many outings and is working hard at his retrieve skills. On some weeknights, he has been going home with Lisa to practice his retrieve in a home setting to make sure he is transferring his skills to new environments and wants to choose service as a career. When he is not working hard, he can be found cuddling in the kennel with his kennel buddies Saffron, Maya or Tako.
- Skills being learned: Maintaining all skills learned, preparing for pre-placement testing.
- Recent field trips: 8 Rinks, Ikea, Trout Lake dog park, Lougheed Mall, Steveston waterfront, restaurant.
- Possible behavior challenges: Dog and olfactory distraction.
- Potential career path: Service/Bracing or PTSD
