AVERY is very watchful for opportunities to connect with the most important humans in his life. He has lovely big brown eyes and knows how to use them! Avery continues to go on many field trips and is practicing his focus in high distraction areas, so he is not distracted by smells and dogs. Making the choice to stay on task and not pay any attention to other dogs is a struggle for him. While he still struggles sometimes to focus around strange dogs, he is making progress and has days where he is a pro!
- Skills being learned: Maintaining all skills learned thus far, preparing for pre-placement testing.
- Recent field trips: New Westminster Quay, Lougheed Mall, various local schools, Ikea.
