AVERY continues to work on his dog distraction this month, focusing on ignoring other dogs who are barking or lunging in his general direction. To work on this, Avery has spent lots of time in Downtown New Westminster and on the New West Quay where there are lots of novel dogs to encounter. Avery is enjoying having shorter kennel weeks and three-day weekends with his advanced sitter, as his obedience is looking good. This also gives him the chance to take more walks on leash around other dogs in his sitter’s neighborhood!
