August was a low key but busy month.Β  I spent most the month in heat, which limited our public outings but gave the fun of coming up with creative ways to stay sharp and fine tune skills.Β  My raiser and I continue to split our time between the suburban life at our temporary home and country life – building our new home.

This time of year means it’s fair time, which brings on our annual puppy field trip to the PNE where we get to experience live stock, food trucks, carnival rides and I even got to meet a dinosaur this year!!!

As August comes to an end we got the exciting news that my bestest puppy pal/roommate who has been my role model from the start, Pads Puppy-in-Training Maya II, passed all her pre-placement testing and is starting to look for her client.Β  I’m so proud of her and couldn’t have been more lucky to have such an amazing role model.Β  She gives me so much more motivation to keep learning and training so I can follow along in her puppy steps!!!

Bring it on, September !!!!
