BURKE has been spending his summer visiting new people and going lots of different places so he can keep his skills strong for his future client. He is getting very good at offering a chin target and really settling into “my lap” for a solid cuddle session. When he is not working, he is getting to know his new training buddies, Puma and Hammond and continuing to spend time with his brother and training buddy Webber. Both boys are great at setting a good example for new advanced pups!
- Skills being learned: ‘My lap’, ‘bow’, deep pressure, ‘fist bump’, chin targeting to the ground and to laps.
- Recent field trips: Heritage Park, Chasin Tails, PetCetera, Chinook Centre Mall, off leash dog park.
- Possible behavior challenges: Occasional olfactory and dog distraction, mouths hands when greeting.
- Potential career path: AFD
Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Burke!
