Chinook is sometimes fondly referred to as a tank – not just because of her short, stocky stature, but because there doesn’t seem to be anything that will stop her from getting to what she wants. She just plows her way through. She’s having to learn not to push past people and to have respect for other’s space. It’s this determination to get what she wants that can be helpful when she needs to persist to accomplish different tasks. It is also what makes training her a bit more challenging.

Chinook is continuing to work on relaxing, and another big focus is working with her around rabbits, birds, squirrels and other exciting things that move. She finds these things super motivating and needs to be as motivated by the human on the other end of the leash. LOL! Chinook is fun to teach new things to because she picks up on them very quickly.
