Well it turns out my last pupdate had some premature information. Our newest PADS Okanagan recruits did indeed arrive at the end of the month but it was decided that none of them were quite ready to fill my paw prints, so I get to stay with my raisers for a little while longer (I think they’re secretly glad we get more time together). So now without further ado I present the March 2019 edition of “The Dodger Report”
Believe it or not I’m now 16 months old (wow time flies) but I found out there are still new things for me to learn. This month I got to ride on my very first bus (it was just like a car except I got to hang out with some of my PADS Okanagan pals and eat kibbles while we rode around), it was awesome! I’ve also been attending lots of playoff games for the Vernon Vipers (the arena is a bit more crowded than normal but that doesn’t bother me, my spot under the chair is still the same). I also went to my first baby shower (did you know humans start out the same size as puppies!?!?), I think I may have stolen some of the attention from the baby but I was on my best behaviour so that’s okay.
Finally our month concluded with an awesome “Barkinglot Party” at TotalPet Vernon (they’re my amazing sponsors). All the PADS Okanagan puppies were there as well as our newest recruits (I love puppies!) and the ever inspiring PADS Assistance Dog Rico. There were so many fun things to see and explore (I even got to try a wobble-board and little see-saw), it was hard to stay focused around all my friends but mum said I was brilliant.
Well I think that about wraps up my month, I’m looking forward to spending some more time outside as the weather gets warmer and to finding out what April brings.
Happy Spring!
