DORY is getting much strong at loose leash walking and self-regulating to stay in the zone when she is in quieter places. She is working towards being able to maintain this in various environments. She really likes to be close with her handler and will sometimes “speak whale” when she feels too far from her handler. She has also enjoyed dabbling in some interrupter work. Dory is settling in nicely and is keen to find her career.

  • Skills being learned: Practice of obedience and default behaviors, interrupters
  • Recent field trips: Halloween Train, YVR and various others
  • Possible behavior challenges: maintaining loose leash and composure in busy places
  • Advanced training location: Burnaby
  • Potential career path: Assistance Dog

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Dory!
