Challenging to keep this short! Success at attending the United Players production, “Life of Galileo” after sitting in at a rehearsal a few evenings before. Hadn’t been present for Act 2 when there was a lively and rowdy party scene on stage that ended with balloons being burst!!!! Given that previous reports have mentioned Dune’s response to loud sounds, my observation is that he didn’t respond at all to the loud balloon pops. Progress. Red letter day: on Marine Drive path, passed another dog when on leash with no lunging (yes, I supplied a handful of food). Noon-hour concert, UBC, Music School by Chinook Song Catchers; one song involved audience participation that included portions of audience moving like and making sounds of four members of the clan: IF Dune can sleep through UBC students howling like wolves, he can sleep through anything!!!! Another concert by UBC Symphony and pianists (piano concerto winners) was enjoyed by us with Dune. Attended Grandson’s football game in Tsawwassen (photo). Many outings at restaurants–Dune has total understanding of “Go in.”
