Dusty has had a busy December. She started the month with a very energetic playdate with PADS Moose and enjoyed racing around with him. Dusty went to her very first De-stress event at MEC HQ early in December. The attendees were patient and understanding of her tendency to mouth/bite sometimes, especially when she became tired. She came to the garden centre to pick out a Christmas tree and enjoyed the sights and smells of the tree lot. She practised her loose leash walking on the boardwalks and old wooden piers along the Fraser River in Steveston. Dusty was out to experience her first snowfall and walked on large puddles that had iced over, making the ice crack under her feet. She had a grand time racing around with PADS Banff when she was staying with her puppy-sitter in Vancouver. Jenny said she had excellent off leash recall in the park. She has been spending a lot of time in the city library and became so comfortable among the books that she had a short lie-down while I finished reading a chapter!
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
