Pupdate: Dusty had an interesting February, playing in the snow, going hiking in the mountains on the weekends and meeting many of her PADS friends for walks and play dates. She spent 2 days with a human baby who is just learning to walk and who was very interested in her. Dusty lay quietly while he crawled and walked around her, tapped her once on her nose, tripped on her tail and fell over her. He even offered her one of his crackers (which she did not accept.) We had a baking accident in the kitchen when a cup of chocolate chips spilled to the floor. Dusty watched it happen, came over to investigate, lay down at my side and waited for me to clean it up!
Dusty enjoyed a lively weekend when little PADS Murray came over for a sleepover. Dusty continued to work on her duration “Sits” and “Downs” in public places. She practised her manners at the library, the mall, at ICBC and waiting in a long queue at the bank.
