After careful consideration, DUSTY II has been released from advanced training. Dusty’s sweet personality and ability to bond readily with new people endear her to everyone she meets. Upon thoughtful assessment, Dusty has displayed to PADS staff that her discomfort in new and stressful situations makes her unsuitable for a public career as an assistance dog. Her soft and gentle demeanor makes her an ideal VIP candidate! We look forward to finding Dusty a family who needs the unconditional love and support of a special dog like Dusty. The PADS advanced training staff are very grateful to the amazing community of volunteers and the PADS puppy program staff whose love and hard work helped shape Dusty into the lovely dog she is today! Dusty is going to be an amazing addition to a VIP family and we wish Dusty and her forever family all the best as she transitions into life as a ‘Very Important Pet’.
