Elena-2014-12-6-so-tiredSince arriving in Vancouver four months ago, I have learned so much. Sit! Down! Leave that sock! My bra! Everything is so interesting.

My favourite thing to do is to meet people and other dogs. They almost always want to play with me but mom thinks that I should sit instead because I am going to be doing very important work when I grow up.

When I’m not meeting people I like to sample things that I come across at home or while I am out walking – that’s how I learn about my environment. In just my first week here, I learned that the coffee table leg is really good for chewing, pillows are lots of fun to shake and toss and the forest is awesome to walk in. I even got to eat cat poop! It was crunchy. Afterwards, mom put up a lot of baby gates and then went to lay down in a dark room for a while.

Of course, I was just a baby then. I’m over six months old now and have already been busily working to help people feel better.

In November, I went to university to help some of the students feel more calm before their exams and last month I took a plane to Calgary to help my mom and her family feel better after a funeral. Everybody was so impressed with my work that they wanted to shake my paw.

Life is good. High five!
