This month, Gabi has been working very hard on handler focus when she is outside. She dearly wants to interact with all the world has to offer – and all the lovely sights and smells of late spring don’t make it easy! We continue to work on her checking in instead of making choices on her own — she is showing improvement but still needs to slow herself down a bit. Her good behaviour on indoor field trips — such as a library with small children — shows us she has the ability to have more self-control. Gabi is very easy to get attached to and is gaining more fans every day.
