We spent lots of time around home this past month as Haley was in heat so activities were limited. It was a good opportunity to work on duration skills and we started adding some distance to the sit, down and stand cues. We also did some off leash walking in heel position around the house and yard, up and down stairs with waits at doorways etc. In preparation for Halloween mom got out the Tickle Trunk (those 50 years and over should be familiar with this!) and Haley got to practice dressing up in all kinds of silly things! Halloween night was so exciting with all the visitors knocking on the door and a real challenge for Haley to stay calm, but she got better at it as the evening progressed. Good job Haley!
