HERO went for an extended field trip to Langley Christian Middle School this month. He got to visit with many of the students and teachers and were great at making new friends with all the new humans. Hero especially enjoyed quiet visits with some of the younger children. Hero has also had another important job; being a mentor to PADS Puppy-In-Training Nav. Together they have been practicing house manners, boundaries and duration behaviors, as well as learning to toilet on hard surfaces. Hero has been setting a great example for Nav!
- Skills being learned: Practicing all learned skills and maintaining basic and home obedience.
- Recent field trips: Various local malls and schools, Langley Christian Middle school, various other training field trips.
- Possible behavior challenges: Noise sensitivity, low confidence, uncomfortable with people reaching for his head.
