HERO has had an eventful month! He enjoyed time at École Kwayhquitlum Middle School, spending time training with his half-brother Lennon and fellow trainee Mudge. He voted in the Federal Election (he says he would like to vote for more snacks and more naps please!), and has mastered sleeping loose on the dog bed at night. Hero is hoping to be ready for pre-placement testing in November and is still looking at his various career options.

  • Skills being learned: Maintaining all basic obedience and public access manners in preparation for pre-placement testing.
  • Recent field trips: Kwayhquitlam Middle School, Federal Election polling station, various other training field trips.
  • Possible behavior challenges: Noise sensitivity, low confidence, uncomfortable with people reaching for his head.
  • Potential career path: AFD

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Hero!
