IROKO lives to party! His sister Mallee joined the Calgary Advanced Training crew later last month and he is loving having her around; she likes to play tug just as much as he does! Iroko is picking up new skills at lightning speed and continues working on containing all that awesomeness when he has to walk on a loose leash outside. Nothing worth having is ever easy and all his hard work will hopefully pay off in the long run.
- Skills being learned: Retrieving, ‘tug’, ‘light’, holding items, ‘up’, loose leash walking, ‘button.’
- Recent field trips: Downtown Calgary, Marlborough Mall, Macleod Trail Animal Hospital
- Possible behavior challenges: Occasional alert barking, hesitates to go through tight spaces, dog distraction, reluctant to bring toys/items back to his person.
