This month has been extremely cold in Calgary, so it hasn’t been easy to walk outside for long periods of time. However, Jericho braves the cold during our walks to the train station every morning, during which we continue to practice leash walking.

Jericho still finds it difficult to maintain a leash walking position when distractions come passing by in the form of fluffy white rabbits and other dogs. However, we are trying to take all of of his enthusiasm and energy and put it into practicing his commands (which he loves)! Alternatively to walking outside, we have been exploring the New Central Library building during lunch hour. Jericho is calm and attentive while inside, and stays focused even when there’s lots of excitement from people as he walks by!
