Karma & I joined friends at the Cruiser’s Car Show in downtown Vernon. There were many distractions, people, dogs, & food. She made a few attempts to socialize, but was easily redirected with kibble.
We also went to Civic Sounds – an open air concert in the Civic Plaza. She was curious about all the activity, but was able to settle on her mat with only a few reminders.
Karma had a fun swim date with PADS Tiller at the Kalamalka Lake Dog Beach. She is an excellent swimmer and loves the water. She has very good manners when playing in the water and returns when called.
She is working on loose-leash walking with distractions, and a longer settle when asked to “Go in” at a restaurant.
