This month, just like the past three, have been rather adventurous. Not many things have changed and I and hooman are staying at home lots. We have been taking this time to work really hard on my house manners. Sometimes I don’t know what comes over me but I just really need to run and jump on Eeyore who needs to be woken up from her nap on the dog bed! It is a work in progress for sure but I always try my best.
When we are not at home I spend my time on walks around the neighbourhood practicing my loose leash walking. For the most part, it is pretty good but the odd time I catch a sniff of something amazing and I must go and smell it. On one of my puppy classes each week hooman has been learning some fun engagement games that’s really turned things around. One minute I’ll be sniffing, I stop to look at her and out of nowhere, she explodes in the opposite direction. If I follow her I get treats…what a deal!!
That’s about as much excitement my life has at the moment. Hopefully, in the near future, I can practice some of my skills in other settings. For now, I’m quite happy with my training walks.
