Lucy is 11 months old now, and I’m really starting to see her mature, which has been wonderful and rewarding. We’ve had a chance to do some outings with other PADS pups, and while she’s still very excited, she’s able to contain herself for the most part. You’d never know this was her first Halloween being exposed to weird things that make noises and move. We went out Halloween night to walk amongst the fireworks, costumed kids and decorated houses, and she just took it all in stride. This little pup steals hearts wherever she goes with her bright, inquisitive eyes and her ever-wagging tail (or entire bum). We’ve managed a few “family walks” with my house dog Clover as her leash walking has improved quite a bit, so that has been fun.Β
