MAGIC II has come far in her co-operative care for nail trims. It is still slow and steady wins the race, but she is able to have one handler only working on her nail trim. Way to be brave, friend! Magic’s distraction work is also coming along as she bonds with Ashley and her focus has increased because she loves to know what work is coming next.

  • Skills being learned: Practice and refinement of foundations, hearing dog foundations
  • Recent field trips: PetSmart, Hume Park, and others
  • Possible behavior challenges: Aversion to nail trims, impulse control around some exciting distractions
  • Advanced training location: Burnaby
  • Potential career path: Assistance Dog

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Magic!
