Magic II came to us last night from Kelowna via Dana; we all met at a MacDonald’s near Aldergrove. Magic II is a very beautiful, almost one-year-old puppy. She is attentive and inquisitive. Her first night was quiet, she’s a good sleeper! When I ate my breakfast, Magic followed a “Go in,” laid down in front of me, and at one point laid her head on my shoe. We did a morning walk (one and a half hours) to the Community Centre to have her meet people in my exercise class and tell them why I wouldn’t be attending class today. Magic gave me her focus while being pet and when we talked, she laid down. We also stopped in at the local vet’s to weigh her on the scale there. Now, as I write, Magic is laying beside my chair, sleeping. Happiness is having a PADS dog again and my first impression is that Magic is a winner!
