MAYA II has been working on strengthening her core this month. ‘Up’ durations, ‘buttons’ and making sure her two front paws remain on counters when retrieving off tabletops or doing transactions have all been helping Ms. Maya build more strength in her core. She is also working on tucking herself in ‘behind’ the wheelchair in tight spaces when she needs to make room for other people and objects. When she is not working hard, Maya loves to have a good nap in the trainer’s office. The bed under Lisa’s desk is her favorite place to snuggle after a successful training session!

- Recent field trips: Lougheed Mall, various local grocery stores, Trout Lake off leash dog park, Vancouver Aquarium, Downtown New Westminster.
- Possible behavior challenges: Sometimes lacks confidence in her skills when she struggles to complete a task.
