This month I became a city girl.  Despite my utter shock at being allowed to go to high school last month while I am still in Kindergarten, my raisers decided I would be totally fine to go to University.  So down to Vancouver I went, and boy did I learn a lot!

To get my feet wet in this new environment, they made me get my feet wet.

We went to the beach and they told me I was starting my swimming lessons.  I mean, I’ve been to the pool to help two of my raisers coach their swimmers, but I didn’t think I would have to practice too!

I’m also starting to get the idea that the ocean water is way colder than the pool water…but they won’t let me in the pool.

I also worked really hard on my settle in high distraction areas at University.  I stayed settled through a 3 hour lab that had people doing experiments and I didn’t even need my Kong.  I’ve also been working on my roll, which I love because I LOVE belly rubs.

If we go back to my coaching, I can now do push ups faster than the swimmers can when we’re doing dry land work.  I sometimes get confused because my raiser says down, but then she tells them to do push UPs… but I think it’s just a language barrier.

Today I went to my other raisers’ office for the first time.  Apparently University prepared me for this new job…?  I’ll report back once I’ve been there longer and let you know.
