MOCHA has shown some really nice traits that would suit a career as a PTSD Service dog. At this time, we are excited that we will be assessing Mocha further to determine if she has the right temperament to graduate as a PTSD Service dog. She continues to work on her service skills like ‘my lap’, ‘go through’ and ‘back’.

  • Skills being learned: Teaching responses to loud sounds and people showing both positive and negative emotions, maintaining other skills and public access manners.
  • Recent field trips: Various malls around Nanaimo, ferry trips, various community centers, library, Nanaimo boardwalk.
  • Possible behavior challenges: No major issues at this time.
  • Potential career path: Service, PTSD Service

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Mocha!
