MUDGE continues to explore career options and has been spending time with a new advanced sitter to check out an urban workplace and proof her cue response with novel handlers. Mudge is doing well in the new environment and is enjoying making new friends wherever she goes. She enjoyed time at École Kwayhquitlum Middle School, training with PADS graduate AFD Lennon and training friend Hero. We hope to run Mudge through her pre-placement testing in November and look forward to having more news about her future in the next few months!

  • Skills being learned: Maintaining all basic obedience and public access manners in preparation for pre-placement testing.
  • Recent field trips: Kwayhquitlam Middle School, Downtown Vancouver, various other training field trips.
  • Possible behavior challenges: Occasional dog distraction.
  • Potential career path: AFD or PTSD

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Mudge!
