September was another busy month for MUDGE! She joined her trainer for a road trip, taking her skills on the road and working on her ability to focus in novel environments – Thanks Canadian Hydrographic Service! Mudge also spent a few days doing an AFD assessment to test out her compatibility with different workplace environments this month. Mudge is looking forward to seeing so many new teams cross the stage at Grad 2019, and has her paws crossed she’ll be joining the ranks of graduate next year!

  • Skills being learned: Maintaining all existing skills in a variety of environments,
  • Recent field trips: Road trip with her trainer, various field trips related to a potential future AFD placement.
  • Possible behavior challenges: Occasional dog distraction.
