November has been a busy month for PAXTON! While COVID has meant that we are keeping our field trips at a “maintenance level” Paxton has been busy growing the foundation skills necessary to becoming a service dog. He is pretty darn happy to find out that the game of tug features prominently in advanced training! He is also loving getting to have some free time with his brother Axel and cousin Mallee. The three of them have earned the nickname “triple threat” because they are all sweet, funny, and SMART!

  • Skills being learned: Nose targeting, movement skills, retrieving
  • Recent field trips: Chinook Centre, Superstore, various other training field trips
  • Possible behavior challenges: Can be worried about getting his nails trimmed and having his body handled.
  • Advanced training location: Calgary
  • Potential career path: Assistance Dog

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Paxton!
