PUMA is settling well into with advanced training in Calgary and is having a great time playing with her new dog friends Webber, Burke, Hammond and Spirit. She loves getting scratches from every person she meets and makes friends wherever she goes. She has been spending lots of time perfecting her obedience skills and having fun with confidence building activities like obstacle courses and movement skills. Puma is constantly receiving compliments for her sweet nature and how darn cute she is. She was a big hit at the seniorβs care facility that she attended this month. Her lovely off switch and amazing manners are a credit to her raisers and they should be very proud their hard work!
- Skills being learned: Body targeting, movement skills, chin targeting to laps, heel/side.
- Recent field trips: Silvera Seniors Centre, Chasin Tails, PetCetera, Chinook Centre Mall, off leash dog park.
- Possible behavior challenges: Low motivation for food in distracting environments, some worry around unfamiliar dogs, some cape sensitivity.
- Potential career path: AFD
