RAINBOW has been enjoying her first full month of training! For her first month, Rainbow has been working with Ashley, Jessica and Margaret on various exercises to brush up her loose leash walking and other basic skills. Rainbow has also been acting as Susie’s ‘demo’ dog, accompanying her to various PADS events. She loves to meet new people and makes friends with everyone she meets. Rainbow’s primary challenges are impulse control at thresholds and her desire to lick the hands and faces of people she meets. In the coming months, we will be working on strengthening her impulse control and working on a default behavior that doesn’t involve licking. So far, Rainbow has been charming everyone with her eagerness to learn and her infectiously cheerful personality. Thank you, Team Rainbow for all the hard work you put into helping Rainbow become the lovely dog she is today! We look forward to seeing where her training takes her!
