RAINBOW has started to come into campus for advanced training so that Ashley can get to know her better. Together they are exploring her career options and taking a look at what quirks Rainbow may need help working on. Rainbow was away with a sitter for part of the month and enjoyed getting experience with a different handler and practicing her homework.

  • Skills being learned: Clarity of ‘stand’ and ‘side’, refining of basic obedience.
  • Recent field trips: Currently Not Applicable Due to COVID-19
  • Possible behavior challenges: Avoidance of rain or puddles, dog distraction, impulse control around thresholds, body handling sensitivity.
  • Advanced training location: Burnaby
  • Potential career path: Assistance Dog

Thank you again for all your support of Advanced Dog Rainbow!
