I am sixteen months old now and am starting to think about what career is right for me. In intermediate training, I see my older classmates (and some near my age) heading off to PADS college or to other careers. It’s kind of exciting thinking about what’s ahead for me! In training class, I’m gradually getting better doing skills just by listening to my raiser rather than watching her or being shown how to do it with treats, and I’m practicing doing some of them for a long time.
My raiser and I practice a lot of the skills when we are at work. Sometimes, when I want her to stop working and start practicing stuff with me, I put my head on her lap and give her nose boops, like in the picture, to remind her that we need to do stuff. I don’t know what she’d do without me. 😉
