Sapphire had a busy month in July, and had the pleasure of hanging out with Melanie H. and Mike O. in Calgary for a couple of weeks while I, her Raiser, took a vacation. I am pretty sure she added two new friends – and two new team members – to “Team Sapphire”.
She enjoyed hiking the Rockies with Mike O., and watching rabbits run amok on Calgary streets with Melanie. Both gave her new distraction work . She wants to say thanks to both of them for taking great care of her, and giving her some new adventures for her scrap book!
The picture is one that Mike O took of her getting in a little nap in during a break in the hike. Hiking is hard – Mike O is a hiking machine!
