SPROUT has been enjoying much of May spending time offsite with Margaret and his advanced sitters. His sitters have young children, and he has been spending time getting to know them to see if a career working around children might be in his future. Sprout is always lovably goofy and snuggly, and we hope to find him a forever placement that allows him to utilize all his great qualities to improve the lives of those around him!
- Skills being learned: Fine tuning basic obedience, adding durations, engage/disengage for distracting stimuli, settling in new environments
- Recent field trips: Lougheed Mall, IKEA and various training field trips with Margaret and his advanced sitters
- Possible behavior challenges: Ball drive, alert barking, some barrier frustration
- Advanced training location: Burnaby
- Potential career path: Assistance Dog
