September was a month where my routine changed.

To date, I have been going to work on alternating days with my two raisers and now I will be going with one raiser.  My other raiser is hopefully working from home two days per week, which will be fun for me as she has a new desk with a dog bed underneath.  I love it!  It just happens to be in the “cat” room and if I get in quick enough, the food bowl is still down and I gobble the cat food.  I’m not supposed to do this, but I understand it’s like people with a bag of chips when they are craving salt.  Anyhow, I’m trying to say my routine is changing and it will take a bit to get settled.

My dear friend PADS Esme, the beautiful white princess in the picture, threw me a goodbye party/early birthday party.  I will miss my coffee breaks and lunch breaks with Esme and Dervish, but I am still able to see Esme on the weekends when we get together at Mundy Park.

As for training, I am working on heel and side and duration.

Oh, I have to tell you that I got to spend some time with my Grandpa Pride, pictured in the photo.  If you were wondering where my large square head came from, it runs in the family on my dad’s side.

Also, I should mention that I ran into two bears this month.  As a result, my raiser is keeping very close tabs on me when I am off leash in the woods.  I know there are a lot of bears around because I smell them all the time and they leave big piles of “you know what”.  That stuff would not fit in one of my pick up bags!
