SUNNY II has been steadily improving on his obedience durations and is now working hard at “stand” and keeping it still. His impulse control around exciting things such as balls, frisbees or other toys is also improving. Sunny is now going out on various field trips to practice his obedience and impulse control in various environments and to see where he might like to work if he completes his training as an AFD.
- Skills being learned: Practicing basic obedience with duration, prey drive/impulse control work.
- Recent field trips: Queen’s Park, Lougheed Mall, outings to various schools and other training field trips.
- Possible behavior challenges: Prey drive, impulse control around dogs or toys being tossed.
- Potential career path: AFD
