TAKO has spent this month going on lots of field trips with Lisa and Margaret, particularly to various local schools. He continues to work on sharpening all his duration obedience and waiting patiently at thresholds. We are excited to announce that Tako has passed his pre-placement testing and we hope to match Tako with his client in the very near future.
- Skills being learned: Maintaining all basic obedience and public access manners, maintaining duration cues regardless of environmental distractions.
- Recent field trips: Lougheed Mall, various local grocery stores, Trout Lake off leash dog park, Vancouver Aquarium, Downtown New Westminster.
- Possible behavior challenges: Drools a lot in public.
- Potential career path: AFD
