Well April was a quiet month for me as we practiced social distancing and stayed home to help “flatten the curve”.Β However, that doesn’t mean we didn’t have fun.Β Most importantly, it was my First Birthday!Β I got a new toy and we celebrated by going on a car ride and playing in the back yard.
I’ve been working hard on maintaining my skills as well as sharpening my loose leash walking.Β We’ve been doing a lot of neighbourhood walks so Mum has been taking the opportunity to improve my dog distraction (it’s a work in progress).
Near the end of the month, the District in our area re-opened some of the parks and Mum and I were lucky enough to find a dog park all to ourselves.Β We practiced skills and recalls, surrounded by all the distracting dog smells but none of the actual doggies.Β It was so much fun!
