Wow, December was such a busy month for me… I hardly know where to begin.
One of the highlights this month was getting to sell 50/50 tickets at the Vernon Vipers Hockey Game. Me and a bunch of my PADS Okanagan friends helped raise money and spread awareness for PADS. We even had PADS Assistance Dog Rico drop the puck before the game; it was so cool!
I got to experience a bunch of different scenarios this month. For Christmas, Santa Paws brought me TWO new toys and some treats (obviously I was a very good boy). Then we went out for dinner at my Aunt’s house and I got to play with my cousin for the whole night. It was fun but I was a little stiff the next day.
For Boxing Day, the human’s had something called an “Open House”. I was on my best behavior with all the new people coming in and out of the house and I didn’t bother the food table once.
Then to wrap up the year we had a big snowfall (it was up to my tummy) and I got to tear around the yard while the humans shoveled (they were not as excited as I was). We rang in the New Year with family, playing games and watching a big shiny ball on TV. Mum was so proud I didn’t react to all the loud noises and cheering at midnight (what can I say, I’m a pro).
Anyway, that’s a whirlwind recap of my month. I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season.
Happy New Year! Bring on 2020!
