Ahoy Everyone, Captain Tiller here!

July was another exciting month for me:  I’m now 3 months old and growing like a weed!  I’ve graduated to a medium-sized Cape.  It’s still a bit big but I couldn’t sit or lie down in the small one.   Also I appear to have misplaced a few of my front teeth (hopefully I’ll find them soon).

I’ve had so many new experiences this month that it’s hard to keep track of them all, but I’ll give you a few of the highlights.

My raisers had company this month so I went to my first restaurant.  They wouldn’t let me order off the menu so I had to settle for my regular kibble.

I’ve been working on polishing my puppy kindergarten cues in a bunch of different settings.  It can be hard sometimes when there are distractions, but I’m getting better.

I experienced my first bath!  it wasn’t terrible… I liked the water, but not the shampoo, and I got lots of yummy treats for being good.

However, the best highlight of July for me was learning to swim!  It was awesome!  My raiser can’t believe what a natural I am, but I AM part of the “Boat Litter” after all!  I was really good about coming back when I was called (she had yummy treats).  I hope I get to go swimming again in August.

Well that’s about it for me for now.  I can’t wait to see what I’ll learn next month – apparently I start some new cues at 4 months, so I’m excited!

Just Keep Swimming!  Captain Tiller
