I turned five months old this month! At the start of March, I had some puppy playdates, store outings, and was working at the office with my raiser. Around mid-March though, I hung up my vest to public outings, in order to stay home, and stay safe with my raiser. Since then, we’ve been working hard both in the house and in our neighborhood to perfect my skills, such as sit, down, touch, bed, and kennel cues, as well as doing lots of perch work and loose leash walking practice. I continue to work on my default leave it.
I’ve been enjoying the sunny days and have been working to learn how to settle out on the patio. We’ve also started walking the neighborhood for the 7pm cheering for the frontline heroes, which is great for my training to be calm around loud noises. It helps us to continue feeling like part of the community – even from a distance! Stay safe, everyone!
