TOMMY spent the last week of summer at the “A Taste of the PNE” celebration. He worked on maintaining his assistance dog manners in a very high distraction environment. At an appropriate social distance, he worked around the farm animals, food vendors, parade entertainers, and an endless stream of cars full of visitors. Tommy even got to join the Super Dogs on stage during NHL Mats, representing the Winnipeg Jets. It was the ultimate test for his ‘bed’ cue, as well as staying engaged while loose with other dogs. Tommy is hoping there is a public access test in his future and continues to train towards that goal.
