TONKA has come into his own this past month. He seems more confidant and more enthusiastic about service work. He has even been more open to impromptu wrestling matches with his little sister Brite and friends throughout the day. He still is occasionally distracted by other dogs when out on a walk around the neighborhood, but he is able to be redirected more easily than before.
- Skills being learned: “Tug”, “light”, “up”, “button”, “behind”, retrieve.
- Recent field trips: Nose Hill Park, Central Memorial High School. Chinook Center Mall.
- Possible behavior challenges: Prefers direct instruction, unsure when not being reinforced often enough.
- Potential career path: Service
