TONKA continues to work on his manners around other dogs and is now taking his skills on the road to get used to performing in higher distraction environments. His favorite skill to perform is closing cupboards, and doors with enough force to make a building rattle.
- Skills being learned: “tug”, “light”, “up”, “button”, “behind”, “switch”, retrieve.
- Recent field trips: PetLand, PetCetera, Chapters, off leash dog parks.
- Possible behavior challenges: If he gets worried, he has a hard time recovering, feels unsure when the rate of reinforcement is lower.
