TREVOY continues to work on his service skills to keep him sharp for his upcoming placement. He is spending time refining his skills with other handlers and has a great time showing off his skills as a demo dog at the Calgary Pet Expo. His favorite part of his day is when he gets to jump unto his custom bike cart and enjoy the sights to and from advanced sitter Stephanie’s workplace.
- Skills being learned: Retrieving the phone, assisting in the removal of clothing, retrieving a wheelchair, putting items into a bin, transferring all skills to various handlers.
- Recent field trips: Downtown Calgary, The Camera Store, Petland, Cabela’s, Calgary Pet Expo.
- Possible behavior challenges: Alert barking, gets very excited at sporting events, struggles with difficult takes for novel handlers.
- Potential career path: Service
