August was a busy month – we kicked it off by participating in the Pride Parade. I wore my best boa and painted my nails for the event – who doesn’t love a parade?
The weather was a bit iffy, but I managed to get in a lovely hike with Halo & Mudge up to Cabin Lake.
Then it was off to the horse show with my buddy Nutmeg where we did a great job ignoring the big beast creeping up on us.
We went to the car races, I had hoped to drive a lap or 2 but couldn’t find a helmet to fit.
Finally Halo & I got to spend a few lovely days at the farm, but had to work for our breakfast, Juniper the horse seemed quite amused by our routine.
